The budget can pay for community classes, personal training, and coaching services to support the pursuit of hobbies and interests.
For adults, there is also an option for parents, advocates, and spouses to get some educational opportunities related to the individual disability covered.
You could use your budget to pay for a gym membership, clubs, leagues, and other membership dues to increase community inclusion, up to $1500
You can add funds to reimburse staff for mileage and to pay for your transportation to the services purchased with the budget.
Some certified camps in New York State are eligible for reimbursement, up to $4,000.

For individuals living independently, it may be necessary to purchase lawn care, housekeeping, snow removal, and trash removal services from time to time. This area also allows for the purchase of small appliances related to our household goals such as cooking and cleaning.
For individuals who need language interpretation to communicate at special community events or venues. This can include ASL. Interpreter services in the budget are not for use to communicate with the team.

Some excluded items include: medical co-pays, illegal items and activities, cable TV and streaming services, common household supplies/disposable items, experimental treatment, repairs, rental cars, legal fees, individual's activity fees/supplies, vehicle purchases, and maintenance.
